Since July 2025, we decided to make a difference to those unfortunate enough to be living on the street. We made the call to provide food (which started with Sunday Soup) as it was winter, and has now evolved to various sustainable items depending on weather, donations or general ideas we come up with. Soup has certainly been the most common, but we have provided pasta, sandwiches, burgers, chicken rolls etc to name but a few. Each week we provide between 25-40 meals to those on the street.
Every Sunday since inception, we set up outside and start serving from 1pm sharp to those on the streets. We have noticed a change in the attitude and behaviour of these people around the business and have been made proud to have early engagement by other local businesses who provide support via items or cash from time to time – big shout out to Shanti Natural Care and Accentuate Hair & Beauty located in Kloof St.
